eyeDocs is the eyeOS word processor. With eyeDocs you can create and edit rich documents in both eyeOS Document format or in Microsoft Word and openOffice format.

- To open a new document, just click on “New” button at the top of eyeDocs window in the toolbar
Saving a Document ![]() | Saving a Document |
- To save it, just click on “Save” or “Save As” button at the top of eyeDocs window in the toolbar. If you have not saved before the document. Note that if you do not add any extension when saving your document, it will be saved as an eyeOS Document, with the .eyedoc extension. If you want to save it to be Microsoft Word compatible, just add the .doc extension at the end of the file name.

- Find
- Then Below "Find what" You will see "Direction" followed by "Up" "Down" This is asking if you would like to search up from where your courser was in the document or down from that point.
- The last Option before finding your text is "Match case" If you want to refine your search to be case sensitive click on this box. e.x. if you click on the box and you put eyeDoc in "Find what" in your document it will only find eyeDoc and NOT eyeDoc.
- After completing above click on "Find next" you can do these as many times as necessary
- Replace
- After That we have "Replace with"in the box type in your replacement text
- Then Below "Replace with" You will see "Direction" followed by "Up" "Down" This is asking if you would like to search up from where your courser was in the document or down from that point.
- The last Option is "Match case" If you want to refine your replacement's to be case sensitive click on this box. e.x. if you click on the box and you put eyeDoc in "Find what" in your document it will only Replace eyeDoc and NOT eyeDoc.
- After completing above you have the options on clicking on "Find next" To find the text entered in the "Find what". Then we have "Replace" that will replace the text that you put in the "Find what" with the one that you input in "Replace with" you can do these as many times as necessary or if you know you want all text to be replaced you can hit the "Replace with" Button

- Inserting A Image
- "Image URL" click on the text box next to it and type in the Image's Url that you would like to insert. If you need more help with this visit our example page. After this you may press the "Insert" Button, or continue reading.
- "Image description" click on the text box next to it and type in the Image's description. What does the image have in it or what does it depict or represent.
- "Title" click on the text box next to it and type in the Image's Title.
- Image Appearance
- At the "Appearance" tab you will see:
- "Alignment" you have a drop-down box click on the down arrow and chose how you would like to Align your image
- "Dimensions" You can change the image size the first box closes to Dimensions is he wight after the "x" is the height measured in px short for pixels. below you will see "Constrain proportions" if this is check marked you will keep your aspect ratio as you resize
- "Vertical space"If you type in a numeral value such as 1,2,3,... it will leave a space that save in px(pixels) from the top and bottom
- "Horizontal space"If you type in a numeral value such as 1,2,3,... it will leave a space that save in px(pixels) from the lift and right
- "Border"If you would like a line around your Image type in a numeral value such as 1,2,3,... and it put a line the size of the number you input in px(pixels)
